Life Together Groups

New Sermon Series:  Faith & Life

As we begin this New Year, we begin by taking a look at how Faith and Life work together and how our Faith informs the real life situations we face every day.  For 10 weeks we will hit different topics such as:
  • Moving Forward in Faith
  • The Relationship Revolution
  • Broken Relationships
  • Busyness
  • Why is there Suffering in the World?
  • Handling Hot Topics (with people who might disagree with you)
  • Heaven and Hell
  • Dealing with People in Need
  • Working with Integrity in a Messed up World
  • Lifestyle Choices
You can join one of our in-depth study groups at church:

9:30 am Sunday Mornings in the Fireside Room

10:00 am Wednesday Mornings in the church Library

You can also study these stories on your own or in your family or in small groups formed, the content will be added below each week before Sunday.

Small groups are a great way to dig deeper in your walk with God. Coming to Christ The King on Sunday morning is great, but something special happens when we gather with a small group of believers to wrestle with more difficult questions.

All Things New Bible Study

All Things New is an 8-week session based on the book of II Corinthians. We will be exploring the anchoring truths of bearing treasures in jars of clay, meeting Christ through a pressing thorn, opening wide your heart in the midst of hurtful relationships, and what it means to embrace the lost and lonely as ministers of the new covenant. Each of us has a message to proclaim and live by: Because of Jesus the old has gone, the new has come.  Click here to register.

Developing the Spiritual Life of Children

Begins Wednesday, January 10th. This six-week study, taught by Pastor Steve, will help you to do a better job of spiritually parenting the children that you are raising. We will discuss these topics: How to make God real to your children; Teaching Children to Pray; Helping Children to Have a Faith of Their Own; How to Nurture a Child’s Faith; and How to Make Church a Positive Experience for Your Child.

The Apostle's Creed Bible Study

This is a new women's bible study which will start on Tuesday, January 9th at 10:00 a.m. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall.

We often forget that Christianity not only covers the globe, it spans two-thousand years. The Apostles’ Creed is almost as old, yet it’s still as relevant today as it was when it was written. The creed has summarized the gospel and the foundation of our faith for generations. And today, understanding the creed can help us build our lives on good theology, clearly communicate what we believe, and give us a profound sense of belonging in the kingdom of God.
